Climate change is negatively impacting our daily lives, as evidenced by rising temperatures, more intense storms, frequent droughts, rising sea levels, and microplastics in our oceans, food and rain. One of the most powerful ways to mitigate climate change is to take a collective approach to educating people on sustainable practices. Empowering and educating individuals to make simple and effective lifestyle changes, such as purchasing plastic-free products, or composting their food scraps, creates an accumulative effect that will positively impact their community and planet. The more people who engage in such practices, the larger the impact. MCS strives to help build a future where generations to come will understand that the choices they make will impact their communities and planet, so that they may live with safety and abundance.
